Reinvigorating your Artistic Practice
This workshop is for students who are looking for new ways to approach their art making and develop their own personal abstract imagery and/or process. Students will create their own series by working on multiple paintings at once. Emphasis will be on spontaneity and using a variety of materials to foster creative energy. Through the exploration of mark making students will learn to use line, color, shape, texture and pattern in dynamic compositions. On the first day we will create twenty small works on paper which will form the basis for creating a series of paintings in greater depth.
