Join me for any of the following four day workshops in Todos Santos. An hour away from Cabo San Lucas in Baja California, Mexico, Todos Santos is a vibrant small town overlooking the Pacific Ocean full of restaurants, galleries, yoga studios and wonderful beaches. Be inspired by the colors and scents around you to create paintings in an environment that will provide you with encouragement to explore your art and connect with yourself.

All classes will be held in my studio, unless otherwise noted. Each student will have his or her own table. Please email me for a list of accommodations close by. A supply list will be sent to you after registering.

In my teaching I hope to pass on the excitement of experimenting, trusting in the process, making discoveries and solving problems.

Here is what past students had to say………

“I just completed an art class with Anne here in Maine.  I have studied with many instructors over the past 17 years and Anne is one of the best instructors I have had. The class included demo time, techniques, studying several artists and how we might apply other artists techniques and styles in own work.  It was an amazing class.”

“I didn’t properly thank you for your generous kind teachings these last six weeks. It seems you have stirred up in me a lost or hidden desire to create. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and passion. I feel so lucky. I had so much fun.”

”Thank you Anne for a wonderful four days. I’m energized to continue working on the series format. I’ve already changed the orange circles down to one and now have put it aside because I like one section but don’t know what do do with it to finish it. I hear you saying put it away and start something else. In a week or so I’ll look at it again.”

“I am very new to painting and am immensely grateful to Anne for her ability to coax creative responses from me while I wield paint and paintbrush. Anne has a gentle and supportive way of guiding her students toward creative accomplishments. She is a truly remarkable teacher!”

“Anne is a knowledgeable, supportive, experienced teacher, and artist. She is more than willing to share one to one time in class and critique any work that her students have done outside of class. She also asks her students to send in jpegs of their favorite artists so she can discuss them with the whole class. The basics of composition and color are also discussed. Class with Anne is always an artistic, learning experience.”

”Thank you for your generous spirit and energy! This class is one of the best things I have ever done for myself! Thank you, Anne!”
